Bethel Park School District Ranked Tops!

The Pittsburgh Business Times recently published its 2011 Guide to Western Pennsylvania Schools and ranked Bethel Park #11 among the 104 school districts in a seven-county area based on PSSA scores from the 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 school years.  Other highlights include:

• Bethel Park High School was ranked #11 of 122 schools.
• Independence Middle School was ranked #13 out of 149 schools for 8^th grade PSSA scores and #14 out of 148 schools for 7^th grade scores.
• Neil Armstrong Middle School was ranked #16 out of 202 schools for 6^th grade scores and #13 out of 281 schools for 5^th grade scores.
• Bethel Park 4^th grade scores ranked #38.
• Bethel Park 3^rd grade scores ranked #31.
• The Bethel Park School District was ranked #34 out of 497 school districts state-wide.
