The Fire and Life Safety Coordinator will be overseeing and inspecting all building fire detection, prevention and suppression systems. Developing corrective action plans necessary to ensure compliance with all fire code laws and regulations and standards. Ability to maintain documentation of such compliance, all repairs, maintenance, inspections, testing and certification reports. Will respond to emergency calls and perform CPR/AED/first aide if needed. Coordinator is responsible for conducting formal classroom instruction sessions regarding all fire safety, emergency and safety related topics.
Skills
Must have Associate’s degree in fire, health and safety or related field experience of 3-5 years. Combination of trainings and world experience equivalent to 5 years acceptable.
Certifications as a Fire Fighter, Fire Inspector, Fire Instructor, Fire Officer, or Fire Marshall a plus
Candidate must be flexible with schedule.
