Cindy and Corine are looking to train Ways ‘N Means chairs for next year. It’s a lot of fun and you get to meet a great people. Contact them if you’re interested.

  •  We also still need a Chair (or Chairs) for the Family Picnic. It’s in May, but early planning helps with this one and there’s already a committee signed up and ready to go. Contact Jen Horgan ( bnjhorgan@verizon.net 851.1190) if you’re interested.

Yearbook Photos

Calling all photographers - The yearbook committee is looking for photos from any Washington event, such as Bingo, classroom parties, the Halloween parade, and more. Please send photos togwyearbook@comcast.net shortly after the event. Don’t hold them until the end of the year, the pages are designed as the events happen and we don’t want to miss your great photos.

PTO Membership. It’s not too late to still join the PTO! We still need volunteers for classroom parties, holiday events, and more. Here is the form if you need it . Don’t worry if we haven’t cashed your check yet, it’s easier if we batch them when most of them have come in.

Fundraisers

The George Washington PTO is volunteer run and relies on families and the community for financial support. Without this support our children would go without school assemblies, yearbooks, holiday parties, school t-shirts and more. The PTO looks for a variety of fundraisers that may appeal to everyone without the expectation that each family will participate in every fundraiser. Pick what is most appealing to you and best suited to your budget.

Should you have ideas that you'd like to share with the PTO feel free to share. Or better yet, join the Ways and Means committee!

Calling all PARENTS!

Please come sign up now, We NEED your help!

Here are the current fundraisers:

December 5th - 9th: Holiday Gift Shop
January 21st: Bingo
February 1st: Spring Candy Sale

Thank you for supporting the children at George Washington Elementary School. The "extras" that your financial support provides are some of the activities they will remember most about their time at Washington!
